Shep once was a hero. She lived in the city and worked as an Adventuring Sword for years, gaining acclaim and renown. Then one day she disappeared. Now she lives in hiding as a shepherd, leaving behind her blade and name. Shep keeps to herself mostly and doesn't like making friends. In fact, she hates that I've written this at all. Stop trying to know about her.

Wayne

Formerly a Dueling Sword, one who performs for entertainment in the arena, now a hot commodity Adventuring Sword seeking greater glory, Wayne was Shep's rival back in the day. She's smarmy and smug and a real charmer. "Do it for the vine." - Wayne, if she knew about Vine

Nieve

Shep's girlfriend, a Dueling Sword who wants to break into Adventuring with Shep. She's a ball of sunshine and joy and big, curly, strawberry hair. She's only in flashbacks. I wonder why.

Bon

Old farmer and loner, they're getting up there in age, so when a nameless stranger appears on her doorstep offering to take over the flock, Bon doesn't ask questions. Bon's the kind of maternal figure a girl going through trauma needs <3

Tabby

Sam

Lead witch of the Witch's Guild and Shep's primary point of contact for all her Witch Guild quests.

Robin

A nervous witch-in-training. She lives in a small town and is an apprentice to the town's Granny. Or she would be, if the town's Granny didn't live in the big scary forest. Tabby is her aunt!

Jo

A sword-in-training, she wants to be Robin's Personal Sword and protect the town's next Granny. She's also in love. She also wants to prove herself. She also... maybe wants to Adventure...
